We operate a “Telephone First” system

If you need a consultation with a doctor please phone the surgery on 028 9074 6535 as close to 8.30am as possible.

As instructed by the doctors a member of the reception will take some details and add your name to that day’s list, this means your call will be returned on that day. It is very important to keep your phone free and available to you while waiting on telephone appointment.

If during your telephone appointment the doctor decides they need to see you face-to-face they will arrange that appointment with you.

We are an extremely busy practice and ask that you phone as early as possible as we do not have unlimited capacity and the number of telephone appointments a doctor can safely deal with on any day is capped.

If you have an urgent medical problem please contact the reception team and we will do our best to assist you.

Home Visits

Patients are requested, where possible, to telephone before 11am if a home visit is required that day.

We encourage patients to be seen at the surgery, where more facilities are available for diagnosis and treatment. If you are too ill to come to the surgery, a home visit can be arranged by telephone. Home visits are carried out after morning surgery. Please give the name, address and telephone number of the patient, together with a brief description of symptoms, so that we can give priority to urgent illness. If you feel it is an emergency, please ask to speak to the doctor.
