48 hours’ notice must be given!

Prescriptions requests take 48 hours to process, so please ensure that you order your medication on time. Meaning, once you order your prescription it will be made available for collection 48 hours later at your nominated pharmacy. For example: Ordered Monday collect Wednesday after 4.00pm at your nominated pharmacy. Prescriptions can be ordered on-line, or by telephone between 10.30am to 4.00pm.

Nominated Pharmacy

When ordering medication you must nominate which pharmacy it should be sent to. When prescriptions are ready they will be sent directly to your nominated pharmacy, most local pharmacies collect from the surgery on a daily basis.

If you change pharmacy it is important you let us know so that we can update your records

Know Your Medicines and Keep a List

Knowing what medicines you take and how you take them helps everyone involved to make correct decisions about your care.

Healthcare professionals need to know all of the medicines you are taking, to check that medicines and combinations are effective and safe.

Having an up-to-date, written or printed list of your medicines can help:

  • when you might not be able to remember your medications, for example, at an appointment or in an emergency.
  • reduce the chance of errors.
  • when requesting a repeat prescription from your GP. Make sure to keep a copy for yourself!
